Age: 13-15
When: One Wednesday/month from Sept-June
*Full year sign up is required.
Time: 9:30-3:30 (30 min before/after care available)
Cost: $100/Day
Class Size: 8 students to 1 TFA Mentor
*Class may merge with the weekly Sprouts group for some learning opportunities as well as work with our Forest Kindergarten Class for Mentorship opportunities. Guest Mentors will be invited for specific skills.

What to expect:

This class is NEW for September 2026. We will be working with this group to offer some structured leadership training. The idea is to connect over new skills, team building, and leadership opportunities to build confidence, outdoor knowledge and awareness, community, and sense of self. All while having fun and spending the day outdoors.

The following is rough outline of the schedule for this program:
9:30-10:00am
- Drop off, Self-directed Individual Challenge
10:00-11:00am
- Group check in, Team Challenge
11:00-11:30am
- Group Lunch (students to make lunch together, typically over the campfire)
11:30-1:00pm
- New skill, guest speakers, Leadership training
1:00-3:00pm
- Mentorship opportunities with younger class
- Skill practice and honing
3:00-3:30pm
- Reflection, Next Steps, and End of day
